Fuz Jamall qualified as a dentist and has spent more than 25 years doing the same thing: looking after people's teeth, and thinking carefully about how to do it better. He established Pennington Dental in 2000 and has since grown it into two practices, in Kenilworth and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The books in this series grew from conversations he kept having — with employers who had never been given a clear picture of what dental health costs their organisations, with patients who couldn't connect their mouth to the rest of their body, and with fellow practice owners who had qualified as dentists and found themselves running a business nobody had prepared them for.

He wrote them because the argument is there, the evidence is there, and somebody needed to make the case plainly. VeroBooks is the imprint he built to do exactly that.

Publishing is not about becoming an author. It is about making your argument so well that people pass it on for you.
